Last year I did a thing….
A thing I’ve never done before….
It was in the middle of Melbourne’s sixth (and let’s hope last) lockdown.
Being completely restricted from doing any work, it was born out of my need to create a bit of positivity in my world, generate connections and have something to look forward to on the other side of that long, dark lockdown all while helping another woman in business.
I ran a competition and gave away my Signature Personal Branding Photography experience worth $3,500!
What was I thinking?!
Well I can honestly say it was the best thing.
I had many wonderful women in business enter the competition, all so incredibly passionate about helping their clients with the service or product they provide. I deliberated over my decision for a few days, wishing I was in a position to gift a shoot experience to all who entered so they could elevate their personal brands and kickstart their marketing and promotion in a lockdown free world.
But there could only be one and my little idea, one which required me to bind all my nerves, put them in a box and just put the competition out there to see what would happen, brought Sarah Blom from The Consistent Approach into my world.
Being a busy mum of two littlies, business owner, nutrition coach, teacher and fitness professional, Sarah is one of those energetic vibrant souls, a real go getter and someone you can’t help but want to get to know.
What resonated with me when reading Sarah’s entry is that our services both have the ability to make people (especially women) feel great about themselves and build confidence. I admire her passion for helping other busy people, mums in particular, make healthy choices and feel their best.
Because let’s face it, we can all use a little help from time to time in that area. As much as I like a quick fix (who doesn’t), it’s Sarah’s multi layered approach that really helps her clients stay on track. Her plans include healthy eating and exercise but most importantly it’s the accountability, education and support she provides which sees her clients move beyond just following a plan to developing fully fledged healthy habits and a sustained healthy lifestyle.
Cheers to that! (in healthy moderation of course, wink, wink!)
After a few delays (thanks pandemic) I was so happy to help this brilliant lady early in the New Year create a gorgeous collection of 50 personal branding photos included with her shoot. I can’t wait to see how it helps her reach even more people that need her!
Enjoy these highlights!
