When I first started out in photography, I never imagined it would lead me to pump stations, pressure sewer systems, and wastewater infrastructure. But that’s exactly what happened when I partnered with Aquatec, Australasia’s leading expert in water, wastewater, and odour control solutions.
Since Aquatec came on board as a valued client, I’ve had the opportunity to conduct several commercial shoots on location at job sites like the one in Morwell, Victoria. In fact, if you’ve visited their website recently, you may have seen one of my photos from this shoot proudly displayed as the banner image!
It’s been a fantastic shift from corporate offices and styled homes to putting on high vis clothing, work boots, and at times, lying in the mud to get the perfect shot. Whether it’s photographing massive infrastructure projects or capturing team members in action, I’ve enjoyed the change of pace and scenery. And, of course, making sure everyone looks their best—whether out on a job site or in the Melbourne office for their profile portraits!
The whole experience has given me a new appreciation for the versatility of photography. Who knew that corporate portraits and commercial photography would land me in such unexpected places?
I hope you enjoy the the image highlights from some of the shoots I’ve conducted over the past year.
